The ACORN Fostering Service is committed to providing quality, equality and safety to all users, foster carers and its employees. The AFS wants them to feel confident about revealing any concerns they may have about the conduct of the AFS, including the conduct of users, foster carers and its employees. As a responsible independent fostering agency, the AFS wants to know about fraud, malpractice, corruption, unacceptable behaviour etc within the organisation. The "Whistle Blowing" policy exists to encourage all to raise their concerns without fear of retribution and thereby instituting a system of monitoring quality of its services through organisational learning and achieving continuous professional development.
