Quality, Equality and Safety in Care

The Fostering Network

The Fostering Network aims to ensure the highest standards of care for all children and young people who are fostered through the provision of training, advice, support, information and consultancy services. Founded in 1974, the Fostering Network works to: define high standards and best practice for foster care; assist local authorities, agencies and individuals to work effectively in the best interests of fostered children; inform, influence and persuade policy makers on foster care issues; and improve public understanding of foster care.
