The agency is covered by a professional
Indemnity insurance policy to indemnify any person, who is a
principal, director, a member of any ethics committee, employee,
volunteer and Foster Carers of the agency. This policy provides
protection against legal liability to pay damages and claimant's
costs and expenses for up to £5,000,000, as a result of
claims made arising out of any bodily injury, mental injury,
illness, disease or death of any client caused by negligent
act error or omission committed by the insured in or about the
conduct of the agency's occupation or business as stated, including
"Good Samaritan" acts.
CONTENTS INSURANCE:
To cover all risks of physical loss or
damage, buildings including Landlords fixtures and fittings,
Tenants improvements and decorations, general Contents and Computers
including ancillary equipment.
EMPLOYERS LIABILITY:
for up to £10,000,000
PUBLIC LIABILITY:
The limit of indemnity is £5,000,000
(unlimited in any one period of insurance). Insurers will indemnify
the insured in the terms of this Policy against liability at
law for compensation and claimant's costs and expenses in respect
of:
(a) Injury to any person
(b) Damage to Property
LIABILITY & WILFUL DAMAGE
All property other than that specifically
excluded belonging to any foster parent or members of the foster
family permanently residing in an approved household or for
which they are responsible insofar only as it is not otherwise
insured anywhere in the United Kingdom. This cover extends to
include theft of money by the foster children up to a maximum
amount of £250.00. This policy has a limit of claim for
any one occurrence up to £100,000.
This policy also indemnifies for public
liability up to a limit of £5,000,000 (unlimited in any
one period of insurance). Insurers will indemnify the insured
in the terms of this Policy against liability at law for compensation
and claimant's costs and expenses in respect of:
(a) Injury to any person
(b) Damage to Property
LEGAL EXPENSES:
for up to £ 100,000 for employment disputes, tax protection,
legal defense, property disputes and legal helpline
