The AFS has constituted an independent Fostering Panel as required by the Fostering Services Regulations 2002. Our Fostering Panel consists of professionals from appropriate backgrounds and foster carers, bringing together a wide range of skills and experience necessary for the purpose.

All Fostering Panel members have signed a confidentiality bond in accordance with the requirements on confidentiality. Each panel member has had their CRB, Local Authority and NSPCC checks carried out and at least two references are obtained by the AFS prior to their appointment to the panel.
