The AFS has set very high standards for
itself as an independent Fostering Agency and therefore, has
high expectations of its staff and its structure. To ensure
a consistent approach with which we provide a high quality of
care for children, the AFS has structured itself with robust
administrative policies and procedures. We expect our staff
to work at reasonably high professional standards to far exceed
the requirements laid down by the Children Act 1989, and the
Fostering Services Regulations 2002. Some of the main administrative
policies and procedures, that are in place at the AFS, to ensure
the Quality, Equality and Safety in Care, include:
- Information Security policy
- Internet and Email policy
- Disciplinary and Grievance policy
and Procedures
- Complains Procedures
- Management of Health and Safety at
work policy
- Management of Sickness policy
- Performance Appraisal Scheme
